KFO 6499B is a 100% active, non-silicone foam control agent for use in the food industry comprised of propylene glycol mono- and diesters of fats and fatty acids. It shows excellent performance in the control of foam in the sugar, potato, fruit and vegetable industries and can also be used in a large variety of other food processes. KFO 6499B can not be used in an industrial application. This product is manufactured from food grade ingredients under Good Manufacturing Practices. It meets FDA requirements as a general use defoamer for use in food processing with no limit other than Good Manufacturing Practices. Consideration for other FDA permitted uses would require further evaluation.
