Job Summary
• Responsible for working with legal entities to manage the Group’s operational transfer pricing (‘OTP’) matters, including managing OTP process for the Group.
• Support consistent implementation of OTP processes and ensuring transaction flows and pricing align with TP policies and commercial goals.
• Ensure the group’s tax business model is consistently implemented across operations, with a specific focus on maintaining arm’s length profitability for all entities.
• Analyse and review large data and information to support and substantiate OTP decisions.
• Responsible for continuous improvement and best practices for OTP process.
Job Descriptions
• Work with Supply Chain Mangement, Sales and Marketing and other business partners on requests to analyse and determine transaction flows and intercompany pricing with alignment to TP policies and commercial goals
• Periodic review and analyze segmented profit and loss (P&L) and other information to ensure alignment with the Group’s TP policies and commercial objectives.
• Validate financial data and perform analysis to understand and explain deviations from expected margins
• Work with entities to adjust intercompany prices periodically with the aim for entities to achieve target arm’s length profitability by year end.
• Develop and maintain OTP guidelines including communication and implementation.
• Actively participate in global initiatives and projects on process improvement, system implementation in relation to OTP.
• Develop and maintain tools and reporting templates to improve the efficiency, timeliness & accuracy in data collation, analysis and monitoring of product prices for intercompany transactions.
• Provide ad-hoc reporting and analysis to support TP decision-making.
• Provide guidance and training to entities on OTP process, including preparation of segmented P&L to ensure consistency and drive awareness and compliance to tax business model.
• Undertake other tasks or participate in adhoc projects, as may be assigned.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, ACCA or related field.
• At least 5-8 years of finance experience with minimum 3 years’ relevant experience in managing OTP or financial analysis, preferably in a multinational setting.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, self-driven and meticulous
• Expert in Excel, experienced or good understanding of ERP systems (SAP)
• Experienced or good understanding of a production-oriented business environment, OTP processes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, with strong interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders across diverse cultural environment.
• Fluent in business English. Mandarin is a plus
