Job Description

Your Job Tasks:

  • implement global and local inventory management policies and processes
  • organize the collection of goods at the supplier to be transported to DyStar warehouses (Mannheim and other EU-destinations) or to the end-customer
  • order processing (incl. DoA-approval) and order monitoring until delivery (follow-up for goods receipt samples) including handling of supplier/producer complaints
  • preparing the product- and GHS-labels for the AUX-tollers incl. lot-number assignment
  • supply/tracking of CoA and long-term supplier declarations to be issued by 3rd party supplier
  • monthly review of stock development (dead stock, slow movers, restricted/blocked quantities) to keep the inventory on an optimal level.
  • monitor EU-sales figures to be able to determine the appropriate order frequency at suppliers
  • develop supply concepts e.g. for small quantity business based on distribution reports
  • ongoing replenishment optimization and safety stock parameter setup (locally)
  • contribute at production planning meetings with AUX-producers and ensure in time supply of DyStar raw materials needed at the tolling-plant

Job Requirements

Your Knowledge:

  • Preferably a holder of university degree in logistics / SCM or a comparable degree with additional related business administration degree as a plus point.
  • Full knowledge of material planning systems MRP, net demand calculation and distribution concepts. Preferable for production planning knowledge and coordination
  • Must have strong analytical abilities, attention to details and be motivated to succeed.
  • Excellent IT skills (knowledge of MS office packages), SAP knowledge is necessary (MM + SD module, IBP)
  • Excellent communication in English is a pre-requisite. Ability to communicate with others in effective and concise manner.
  • Good time management skills, ability to prioritize projects and process multiple tasks, good team player person
