Job Summary

Shipping Operator/Driver (CDL) is responsible for the efficient production and packaging of specialty chemicals and the operation of the finished goods warehouse.  Ensures all shipments from the Reidsville warehouse are done in an efficient and timely manner.  Moves product from the Plant to the Warehouse safely and efficiently.

Job Description

• This position is responsible for the efficient production and packaging of special chemicals and the operation of the finished goods warehouse.
• Ensures all shipments from the Reidsville warehouse are done in an efficient and timely manner.
• Moves product from the plant to the warehouse safely and efficiently.
• Operates packaging equipment.  Restocks warehouse as necessary.
• Provides correct and efficient loading on common carrier trucks.
• Ensures proper labelling and filling of customer orders with particular attention to any special customer request.
• Maintains warehouse in a neat and orderly manner.
• Conducts safe operation of plant equipment including (but not limited to ) forklifts, wrapping machines, etc.
• Performs manual labor that routinely requires the handling of drums weighing up to 600 pounds and lifting up to 100 pounds.
• Works overtime as necessary to meet customer needs.
• Perform other tasks assigned by Warehouse Supervisor, Logistics Supervisor, and / or Site Manager.

Job Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required
• Warehouse experience is preferred
• 6 months forklift experience Required
• Requires a valid class A NC commercial driver’s license
