Job Summary
Evaluate the quality of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products to support the manufacture of specialty chemicals.
Job Description
- Perform tests according to written procedures and compare results to specifications/historical data.
- Calculate batch adjustments as necessary to meet product specifications.
- Communicate test results to plant personnel.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
- Inventory lab supplies and prepare reagents.
- Assist with investigations into product nonconformances.
- Adhere to company safety, environmental, and quality policies.
- Perform other tasks as directed by QC Manager
Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required. College degree in a scientific field preferred.
- 1 year experience in chemical laboratory.
