Evaluate the quality of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products to support the manufacture of specialty chemicals.
Job Description
Perform tests according to written procedures and compare results to specifications/historical data.
Calculate batch adjustments as necessary to meet product specifications.
Communicate test results to plant personnel.
Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
Inventory lab supplies and prepare reagents.
Assist with investigations into product nonconformances.
Adhere to company safety, environmental, and quality policies.
Perform other tasks as directed by QC Manager
Job Requirements
High school diploma or GED required. College degree in a scientific field preferred.
1 year experience in chemical laboratory.
