Job Summary

• Position is responsible for the delivery of finished goods to our customers in a safe, timely and efficient manner.
• Assist when needed in the warehouse; restocking, cycle counting, loading carrier trucks, etc.

Job Description

• Safely operate a company straight truck to transport finished goods and materials to various destinations in an effectively and timely manner.
• Ensure adherence to traffic laws, Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations, and safe driving practices.
• Conduct pre-trip inspections to identify and report any mechanical issues.
• Provides correct and efficient loading on common carrier trucks.
• Conducts a professional and courteous attitude towards customers.
• Ensures proper labelling and filling of customer orders with particular attention to any special customer requests.
• Maintains warehouse in a neat and orderly manner.
• Conducts safe operation of plant equipment including (but not limited to) forklifts, wrapping machines, etc.
• Performs manual labor that routinely requires the handling of drums weighing up to 600 pounds and lifting up to 100 pounds.
• Assists in warehouse cycle counting.
• Works overtime as necessary to meet customer needs.
• Maintain trucks
• Perform other tasks as assigned by Key Account Manager.

Pay Range:  $25.00 to $30.00 an hour

Job Requirements

• Requires a valid class A CA commercial driver’s license. Tanker and hazmat endorsements required.
• Commercial truck driver experience and warehouse experience required.
• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 6 months Fork Lift Experience Required
