COURSE OVERVIEW

Abstract

Indanthren dyes are prominent for their excellent light and weathering fastness properties. But combinations of yellow dyes or orange dyes with blue or green dyes may result in poorer light or weathering fastness than expected. This phenomenon is known as “catalytic fading”.

Understanding this behavior is essential for choosing the optimum combinations, especially when very high fastness properties are required.
