Cadira Wool

COURSE OVERVIEW

Abstract

In this course, we will introduce the Cadira Wool concept. Today, more than 50% of wool is dyed in black and navy shades. For these shades, mordant dyes are still commonly used due to stringent requirements on process and wet fastness, but they are highly resource-intensive.

However, the Cadira Wool programme offers a solution to substitute after-chrome dyes in wool dyeing, with numerous benefits—including helping to save water, energy, and processing time.
