COURSE OVERVIEW

Abstract

In this module, you will learn about Recycled and Biobased Polyamide. There are two parts to the modules:

In Part 1, the lesson begins with an overview of the global fiber market, highlighting the current positioning and market relevance of virgin polyamide, recycled polyamide, and biobased polyamide.

Afterwhich, it examines recycled polyamide in detail, covering key feedstock sources, production routes, and critical considerations which have to be taken into account for recycled polyamide.

In Part 2, the lesson focuses on biobased polyamides, introducing their chemical structures and the properties of different biobased polyamide types.
