Data security

Your personal data will be encrypted for transmission via the internet using 128 bit SSL v3, RC4, FSA with 1024 bit interchange. DyStar reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to suspend user privileges and block your access or use of DyStar (in whole or in part) temporarily, indefinitely, or permanently at any time, for any reason, with or without prior notice.

Storage of access data

DyStar Shop

In order to access the DyStar Shop, you will need to register. In connection with the registration process, you will be asked for certain information. This information is your name, email address, your department, login language, address data, phone and fax number, website as far as provided by you. This data will be used to process orders and to provide you with order updates or product information.

Data Tracking

Every time you access the DyStar shop data will be stored in a log file on the server of our provider. This data recorded consists of your IP address, your email address, date and time of the request, the requested content, a description of the web browser use and the operating system and the name of your Internet Service Provider. This data is collected for technical reasons. The evaluation is performed solely for statistical purposes and without any personal references.

Contact form / Newsletter

Personal information will only be if you provide this information on a voluntary basis, for instance as part of a query process or to sign up for a newsletter. We will only use this data to answer your queries, to distribute newsletters and product information, to process contracts concluded with you and for the technical administration. It will not be passed onto third parties without your consent.

Use of data

We will use your data exclusively to process your order, provide requested information such as newsletters, product information or responses to inquiries and for internal statistical purposes. We comply with the applicable regulations on the storage and use of user data, e.g. the German Data Privacy Act (Bundesdatenschutzgesetz / BDSG) and the German Teleservices Act (Telemediengesetz / TMG).

We will not pass on your personal data, including your companies address and your email address, to third parties without your explicit consent, which you may withdraw at any time. Excepted from this ruling are our service partners to whom data is transmitted to process your order (e.g. the freight companies used to deliver goods and the bank used to settle invoices). Due to DyStar’s global setup, data might be transferred outside the EU to DyStar subsidiaries or above mentioned service providers. In these cases, the data transmitted is kept to the absolute minimum.
